Ashley Moor Holiday Cottages, Orleton, Near Ludlow Here down on the farm at Ashley Moor Holiday Cottages (self catering), you will enjoy the wonderful countryside of Herefordshire/Shropshire boarders. The Mortimer Trail is on the door step also the National Trust Bircher Common and Croft Castle. We are a working organic farm with a herd of pedigree Hereford cattle. We are just 5 miles away of the lovely town of Ludlow, with its castle and fine dining. In the other direction is the town of Leominster its famous for its antique shops and its Priory Church dating 633. |

The Wainhouse was converted in 2001 from a
grade 2 listed barn, we have retained much of the original timbers and the
layout of the building. The barn used to house cattle, pigs and horses and
the now tarmac car park was the farm yard collecting area for the dairy
cows. The Cottage was converted in 2009. The original building was a milking parlour which milked 6 cows at a time. It now comprises of a one bedroom let, which is all at one level for easy access, however they are 2 steps leading to the private enclosed deck at the back of the cottage. We also have a games room with full size snooker table. |
