Fathers’ Day Activities in aid of St Michael’s Hospice
Forget about a tie or box of Chocolates this Fathers Day (16th June) and book in for some quality father/ child time.
Oaker Wood Leisure near Leominster has teamed up with St Michaels’ Hospice to offer 2 great Fathers Day packages with all money raised going to support the local charity.
Lad’s And Dad’s, (or lasses except it doesn’t rhyme) paintball session is running from 1-3.30pm. Join other dad’s and children (min age 11) in an exhilarating session of paintball games including Capture the Flag, Assassinate the General and Hijack the Bus. Complete novices are welcome as all equipment and instruction is included. Up to 4 different game scenarios will have you setting battle plans and strategies.
If paintball isn’t for you there is the opportunity to swing through the trees like monkeys on the Oaker Wood High Ropes Course. Suitable for father/child duos, children must be at least 8, take on the challenge of the Aerial High Ropes course, designed and built amongst the Oak Trees. Swing between the tree tops across the Multi-Vines, tackle the Indiana and Burma Bridges and swarm across the Floating Logs.
“We are delighted to be working with St. Michael’s hospice on this Father’s Day promotion” said Oaker Wood Leisure owner, David Davies. “Family fun is what we are all about so it’s fantastic to be able to offer local Dad’s and children the chance to try out new activities while raising money for St. Michael’s hospice”.
Prices are £30 per father/child duo for Paintballing and £20 per father/child duo for High Ropes Adventure. Booking is available through St Michael’s Hospice www.bit.ly/dadslads. For further information please call Oaker Wood Leisure 01568 780111.
