Mistletoe House Tea Rooms & Gallery, Combe, Presteigne
Previously a farm, Mistletoe House is now a Tea Room & Gallery offering a range of drinks including fresh, speciality leaf teas and not a teabag in sight.  If coffee is your preferred drink, ours is prepared using the traditional espresso method to extract the best coffee flavours for your espresso, cappuccino or latte.  Other drinks available include rich chocolate, a range of natural cordials, as well as local beer, cider and wines.

Our food is all home made and ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible.  At Mistletoe House you can enjoy cream teas, cakes, sandwiches, soup, quiche, home made bread, scones, salads, tartlets and real ice cream.  Seasonal specialities are available through the year, from rhubarb tart in the spring through to mulled wine sorbet in December.  Food to attract meat eaters and vegetarians alike.

Mistletoe House Tea Rooms and Gallery

Wherever eggs are needed, we have a ready supply from our own flock of truly free range hens, who may be there to meet you on arrival.

Mistletoe House Tea Rooms consists of the Old Cider Barn, the Garden Room and attractive Walled Garden with a cosy Summer House.  The Gallery will always have original art and crafts available to view and purchase with special exhibition events organised throughout the year.

When a farm, the property made its own cider from its own orchard.  We’ve since lost our cider press but we still have the vestiges of our apple orchard and the link to our name.

If it’s cold outside, you’re guaranteed a welcoming fire in the Old Cider Barn.  If it’s warm, sit out in the garden and enjoy the flowers, planned to bring colour all year round from the mass of snowdrops, through the heady midsummer scent of roses and lilies, to the last of the Michaelmas Daisies, and every month in between.

And in the weeks before Christmas, we really do “deck the halls” with holly, ivy and, of course, mistletoe.

Open Thursday – Monday inclusive, 10:00am – 5:00pm.  Group bookings any day of the week, and evenings, by appointment.  Ample parking.
