“Equestrian Games” by Bob Thompson of Kinnerton

Dates: 3rd May 2017 - 3rd May 2017

Bob, a sheep farmer and former officer in The Life Guards, has travelled extensively in Africa and Asia documenting ancient horse games. He says "A lot of these horseback sports are dying out before they have been recorded, this is a great shame because a lot of their culture dies with it.” Bob’s interest in the ancient games has stemmed from riding and working with horses for most of his life. He is an intrepid traveler with some hair –raising tales to tell!!  If you are interested in horses and different equine cultures, this is for you. We hope that many of our riders, volunteers & supporters who are unable to make evening events will be able to come to this one.”
