One of Alistair Sawday’s Special Places to Stay, Rosecroft in Orleton is ideally situated for walkers in the middle of the village close to the end of the first leg of the Mortimer Trail. We are approximately 3 minutes walk from a pub serving good food. If this would help we can always book this for you in advance.  

Packed lunches are a speciality here including brown/white baps filled with Brie and grapes or a good ham and mustard, homemade cake and fresh fruit. If you let me know when booking if you would like a packed lunch and what your preferences are that would be good. We can fill your water bottles with chilled filtered water and make tea/coffee for thermos flasks. Lunches are £3.50.

We can dry wet clothes or wash and dry overnight in readiness for the morning.
